What started as wanderlust transformed into a profound desire to share the sense of peace we had abroad. My wife and I decided to leave the cold of Canada for warmer weather but never expected to feel such comfort abroad.

From being surrounded by Islamic architecture and history, I felt a sense of comfort and awe. From Southern Spain to Egypt, the constant reminder of the accomplishments of Islamic societies made me wish I had more at home to hold onto that feeling.
